This privacy policy tells you how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By visiting our website, you accept and agree to the terms and conditions of this privacy policy. In particular, you consent to our collection and use of your personal information as described in this privacy policy.
We may collect information from you when you register on our site, leave a comment or place an order. Only usual information will be collected, such as your name, email, and address, necessary to personalize and deliver your order. You may, however, visit our site anonymously. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties.
Cookies
Cookies are a standard Internet technology that can collect visitors’ data during Internet surfing. Those are the things such as the web browser type, IP address, and operating system. They are also used for session management and personalization (e.g. shopping cart features). This is useful for potential infringement acts, as well as for Website functionality, administration, billing, and support purposes. You still may switch cookies off within your browser, however doing so may prevent the use of certain functions e.g. shopping carts, signup systems, placing comments, etc.
Our Website stores cookies collected by default from our Website’s content management system (WordPress). Those cookies mostly affect users with logging privileges. The purpose of this is functionality and user experience improvement.
For Analytics we switched to Matomo Analytics from Google Analytics. Matomo Analytics is privacy-respective. Still, we do get information about the visitor’s country location and usage environments such as operating system and browser.
Further, our chatbot is storing session data, so it can continue where it stopped previously.
If you have a problem with collecting cookie information, you should stop visiting our site. In the future, if we change the way the cookies are collected, e.g. if we switch back to Google Analytics or any other 3rd party analytics we’ll update this page with running info. We oblige that we’ll not jeopardize or transfer those data to any marketing or any other 3rd party company.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service. If you’re using Gravatar, it will provide your profile picture along with the comment. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here.
If you have permission to publish an article on our site, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
For users that register on our website (i.e. anyone buying products or subscribing for services on our site, or if there occurs any other reason that gives such privilege), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
When you purchase from us, we’ll ask you to provide information including your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, credit card/payment details, and optional account information like username and password. We’ll use this information for purposes, such as, to:
- Send you information about your account and order
- Respond to your requests, including refunds and complaints
- Process payments and prevent fraud
- Set up your account for our store
- Comply with any legal obligations we have, such as calculating taxes
- Improve our store offerings
- Send you marketing messages, if you choose to receive them
If you create an account, we will store your name, address, email and phone number, which will be used to populate the checkout for future orders.
Our store is designed to collect additional cookies. These cookies provide technical functionality, like gathering data from the product cart or tracking products you’ve viewed. This is used to show you products you’ve recently viewed.
We will also store reviews if you choose to leave them.
Forms and comments
By submitting any form on the site, including commenting on blog posts, you acknowledge that some personal data are revealed to us. These are the common information about your location, i.e. IP address, and the browser you are using.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address, and your Website’s address in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
Further, by posting a comment or submitting a contact form on the site we collect the data shown in the comments/contact form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. The comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
